It is not my opinion, it is what the writings in the Bible tell us. I have seen the trouble this creates on social media and the internet. Yes, the culture has changed over the years, but God is unchanging. So, if this is the case, then what does it say about social media and the internet where anyone can freely write what they want to? I believe it is something the body of Christ should seriously consider.

I do not see a problem with woman writings to other women. Certainly, a man can read it, but if the disclaimer is clear that the posts are directed to other women, then it seems to be in obedience to the Lord. I will be honest, I refrain from reading teaching blogs from women. E.g. I do not read anything from Proverbs 31 ministries or other “women” blogs. There are thousands of blogs from women on Christian websites, and there are even some on a very complementarian The Gospel Coalition. Do I mistakenly read them and then go…Oh no, a women wrote this!...yes, sometimes I do. There some women who are gifted teachers, but this should never be over men.

So where do we draw the line? Certainly “7 Times” and “UDIU” are very informative and tend to be more on the side of exhortation, but one would also consider this teaching. Are these sites “teaching” sites, or are they more of a prophetic message? Well if they are directed to the lost and unsaved, then it is more of an evangelizing tool to bring people to the truth.
The intent and purpose of my blog is to convict Christians, or “professing” Christians that marriage is one man and one woman for life. My blog is not directed to the unsaved, but to many who call themselves Christians and use the name of the Lord while they are in adulterous unions. The “teaching” aspect of the blog is more of reiterating verses which are already in place. I believe the verses are crystal clear in pointing to marriage as one man and one woman for life, and that death is the only way that a one-flesh covenant can end. Is this teaching, or is it a prophetic message? I do not make a claim to be a prophet or a teacher, I am merely pointing people to the truth which was established in the first century and is clearly written in the word of God.
I would think this is the intention of your blogs, and that is how I personally look at it. However, when does this become teaching, and how do we make it clear that what we are doing is not contrary to word of God. That is the question we should all ponder.
Genesis224https://www.blogger.com/profile/00458699449694209066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2277295211306069590.post-62732436122957523152017-04-08T11:59:36.028-07:002017-04-08T11:59:36.028-07:00"standerinfamilycourt" is with you in pr..."standerinfamilycourt" is with you in principle and most specifics, but is now wondering if the blog 7 Times Around the Jericho Wall is run unbiblically, along with the FB page Unilateral Divorce is Unconstiutional (many male readers think SIFC is a man).

They are referred appropriately to sound men in the movement when they need deep, personal, prolonged assistance. Nevertheless, when a man is outraged at the rebuke of Calvinism on these pages, or a pagan man leaves outraged comments that someone is (allegedly) trying to "force" a biblical moral standard on everyone and especially them, SIFC does not let gender stand in the way of biblical truth. Both pages have always had more male followers than female, and that's probably because 2/3 of all divorces each year are initiated by women in the U.S. standerinfamilycourthttp://www.standerinfamilycourt.comnoreply@blogger.com
